About this work
Vier putti rond een cartouche met het opschrift: Studio Fovetur Ingenium. Op de grond bevinden zich twee huilende putti, één met lier en één met schilderspalet en penselen. De cartouche wordt omhoog gehouden door een vliegende putto met zeis en zandloper. In de lucht vliegt een bazuin blazende putto met het symbool van eeuwigheid in zijn hand.
