About this work
Vergulde koperen penning met afgebroken draagoog. Voorzijde: borststuk vrouw met diadeem binnen omschrift. Keerzijde: gehelmde vrouw, voorstellende Nederland, houdt in haar uitgestrekte handen kussen, waarop kroon ligt; voor haar zit Geschiedenis, die met pen op tableau schrijft; op voorgrond rechts wapenschild omgeven door lauwertakken.
