The image depicts a landscape with trees stretching into the distance from a slightly elevated viewpoint. The horizon is not immediately clear due to the dense foliage. The painting features detailed brushstrokes, especially in the depiction of tree branches and leaves. The color palette is mostly monochromatic, with shades of gray and muted greens. The foreground shows tree trunks and underbrush, while the background comprises thicker clusters of trees.
