The sketch depicts a person in a side profile sitting position with an arm resting on a surface. The facial features are rough and incomplete, the head is bowed slightly forward, and the hair is undefined. The clothing is not detailed, and the individual is in long garments. There are rough outlines of architectural elements around the figure, such as pillars and arches, and a decorative structure above them. The background shows indistinct lines and shapes hinting at classical or structured interior design elements. The sketch is done in pencil on textured paper.
