The image features an elevated view showing a rustic setting with a reclining figure and a dog under a sprawling tree. The horizon is low, marked by a line separating the sky from the land. Trees or shrubs are visible in the distance. The artwork uses detailed line work and cross-hatch shading for texture and depth, resembling a pen and ink or engraving style. The color scheme is monochromatic, mainly in shades of brown on a beige background. The scene includes a person wearing a hat under a large tree with a dog beside them, as well as distant hills, trees, and birds in the sky.
