The sculpture depicted on this round medallion features a lion and a draped figure holding a rope or leash connected to the lion. The sculpture is crafted from a bronze-colored material. The scene includes background elements such as trees and shrubs, with a contrast between the mane of the lion and the garments of the human figure. The outer edge of the medallion is lined with a beaded pattern, and there is text along the upper edge. The piece appears as a bas-relief, with the figures and elements slightly raised from the background.
