The image shows a page filled with various sketch studies. There is a prominent sketch of a man shown from the shoulders up, positioned frontally, with defined facial features, including deep-set eyes and a prominent brow. The man wears a suit with a bow tie. Surrounding the main sketch are smaller, less detailed sketches: profiles of bearded men, several disembodied facial features like a nose and eyes, and silhouettes of faces in profile. There is also a sketch of a person from behind and a pig. The page is a light tan color.
