This is a drawing of a cobbler at work in a rustic setting. The scene captures an outdoor environment with a wooden structure acting as a makeshift workshop for the cobbler. The cobbler is seated inside a small, low space below a sloped roof, working on a shoe. Various tools and shoes are scattered around. Above, atop the roof, a cat is peacefully sleeping. The background features elements such as ivy climbing up a wall, a window with leaded glass designs, and an old water pump.
