About this work
An old rural track, trees and the forest with colourful autumn leaves in the upper Schmidbach valley near Beilstein, Württemberg, Germany. Photograph taken at an November evening in the long, hot autumn of 2018. Almost in the centre there is an aspen (Populus tremula) tree with golden foliage. Typical detail of the protected landscape area “Schmidbachtal – Oberes Bottwartal mit Seitentälern und umgebenden Gebietsteilen” (local ID 1.25.022, WDPA ID 324223).
