About this work
Two Arecaceae (palm trees) in the fields viewed through a hole in a tree stump damaged by fire in Don Tao (Si Phan Don, Laos), at sunrise. Impression of a natural organic frame or window highlighting the main subject of the landscape. Kind of Droste effect. Poetically this picture shows two healthy trees like a rebirth through the carcass of a third one in the foreground.
