About this work
Hector Berlioz, cover to an early, possibly first edition (La Prise de Troie is the second version, first edition, third state according to http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/loebmusic/2014/05/21/newly-digitized-berlioz-vocal-scores/ - but Les Troyens á Carthage is listed as "second version, second issue"), vocal score of en:Les Troyens. The vocal score was published in two halves, with individual illustrations for each half and a general illustration for the opera as a whole which is exactly the same in both halves. This particular copy was taken from the second half: Berlioz, Hector, 1803-1869. [Troyens à Carthage. Vocal score]. Les Troyens à Carthage : opéra en cinq actes avec un prologue / paroles et musique de Hector Berlioz. [Paris] : Choudens, [1863].
