About this work

Labyrinth “Werschrummschloeff” in Berdorf, Luxembourg The Werschrummschloeff, also known as Werschrummschlöff or Werschrummschlüff, is a fascinating rock labyrinth in the “Little Luxembourg Switzerland” near Berdorf in Luxembourg. This natural phenomenon consists of narrow, winding crevices and caves that were formed by thousands of years of erosion and are now a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. The formation of Werschrummschloeff dates back to the Jurassic period around 200 million years ago, when the region was covered by a primeval sea. The special geological conditions led to the formation of the striking limestone formations that characterize the labyrinth today.
