About this work
A look down a steep gorge with European beech (Fagus sylvatica) leading down to the ocean at Møns Klint, Denmark. The graduated colors in the background is the ocean, which become increasing milky the closer the proximity is to the exposed limestone of Møns Klint. The gorge is in shade, whereas the ocean in the background is sunlit.
