About this work
This image shows Frank-Walter Steinmeier (on the left), the Foreign Minister of Germany, who is talking with Javier Solana, the High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the Secretary-General of both the Council of the European Union (EU) and the Western European Union (WEU). The photograph was made on the occasion of the International Charlemagne Prize of the city of Aachen (Karlspreis) in 2007.
