About this work
WR 134, Wolf-Rayet star and its surrounding nebula
At the heart of the hydrogen draperies in the constellation Cygnus, the massive Wolf-Rayet star WR 134 shapes the interstellar medium. Its ultraviolet stellar winds expel a delicate bubble of ionized oxygen [O III], whose turquoise blue glow contrasts magnificently with the glowing red backdrop of the Milky Way.
