About this work
Handicraft is a very old profession of Bangladesh. Handmade fans are one of many types. Women in rural areas are more engaged in this profession. It makes a fan very skillfully. Its materials are mainly bast strips, colored cloth and thread. They make the hand fans very beautifully. Looks pretty nice. They make the fans and arrange them on the wall in their tin house to attract the attention of the customers. The demand for this fan is very high during the summer. Their earnings are very low, according to their performance. The demand for hand fans is decreasing due to modernity.
