About this work

The Ringebu Stave Church (Ringebu stavkyrkje), one of the 28 remaining stave churches in Norway, photographed from the south-east. Originally built in the 13th century, the church was enlarged in the 17th century and is characterised by its distinctive red spire added during that renovation. The church is surrounded by its cemetery and is listed as a protected heritage site. Located in Ringebu, Innlandet, Norway.
