About this work
The Ziegeleisee in the Ziegeleipark in Böckingen, Heilbronn, Germany, view from east in spring. This is an artificial pond, but it has become home to so many plant and animal species that it has been declared a protected biotope. In the centre a landing mute swan (Cygnus olor).
