About this work
A solitary pear tree marks the end of the hill above the hamlet of Kaisersbach near Beilstein, Württemberg. Behind it, the view opens up over the Schmidbachtal valley; to the left, it extends beyond the valley to the Forstberg near Oberstenfeld, and to the right, the hamlet Gagernberg can be seen. Photo taken in January with a little snow and some haze that adds to the atmosphere. A typical view for the protected landscape area Schmidbachtal – Oberes Bottwartal mit Seitentälern und umgebenden Gebietsteilen (local ID 1.25.022, WDPA ID 324223).
