About this work
Focus stacked image (composed of 50 frames) of a complete stock of a ammonites of the species Pleuroceras quadratum found in Ebensfeld, Germany. The diameter of the fossil is approx 3 centimetres (1.2 in) and it lived in the Pliensbachian period and is approx. 185 million years old.
