About this work
Festa Frawli is the annual Strawberry Fair which is held in early April in Mġarr, Malta. Except for the fresh strawberries, the festival also offers a range of exquisite strawberry-inspired desserts such as jam, ice cream, cheesecakes, smores, pastries, cakes, lemonade, smoothies and milkshakes. Visitors can enjoy traditional Maltese entertainment with folk groups playing local instruments, such as iż-żaqq (Maltese bagpipes), it-tambur (Maltese tambourine) and il-flejguta (Maltese folk flute) while tasting strawberry wine, liquors, and cocktails at the Gin Bar.
