About this work

Nature reserve “Roruper Holz” (COE-045) in the Hanrorup hamlet near Rorup, Dülmen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany The Roruper Holz nature reserve is located in the Rorup district of the town of Dülmen in the Münsterland region. It is a near-natural forest area with old trees, wetlands, and structurally rich forest edges. Typical features include oak and beech trees, as well as small streams and pools that provide habitats for amphibians, insects, and numerous bird species. Deadwood areas promote biodiversity and are particularly valuable from an ecological perspective.
