The sculpture depicts a relief of two profile portraits on a medallion. One person is a bearded man with curly hair and intricate armor, while behind him is a woman with detailed curly hair and a ruffled collar or garment. The medallion is gold with the inscription "HENR • IIII • R • CHRIS • ET • MARIA • AVGVSTA •" around its border. There is a small loop or ornament at the top for display.
