This is a drawing of a map of Venice. The map shows the layout of the city with canals, streets, and buildings. It has a dedication to the city's rule at the top, a compass rose, and decorative border elements. The central map is surrounded by vignettes of various views or iconic buildings in Venice. A cartouche with allegorical figures is at the top right, and detailed explanations are at the bottom. The drawing is monochromatic, suggesting it is an etching or engraving, possibly from the 17th or 18th century.
