On Saturday, November 7, the pope travels from Montevideo to Paysandú, where he celebrates the first Mass of his visit to Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru.

Before Mass, Pope Leo XIV is scheduled to greet the faithful from the popemobile at Parque París Londres. He will then celebrate a votive Mass in honor of Blessed Jacinto Vera, an important figure in the history of the Catholic Church in Uruguay.

After Mass, the pope is expected to make a brief visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary before returning to Montevideo.
