# BTL Episode 28 Brotherhood & The Battle for the Stage: Remembering Jeff Garcia & other Comedians.

Free with YouTube's ads, posted by Carlos Mencia.

In this deeply personal episode, Carlos and Gabe sit down to honor the memory of their friend and fellow comedian, Jeff Garcia. They reflect on the impact he had on their lives and the collective grief felt by the comedy community.

The conversation shifts to the unique pressures of being a Latino comic in the industry. The guys share untold stories about the roles they auditioned for—often competing against each other—and paint a vivid picture of what the Latino comedy scene looked like when they were first coming up. It’s a raw look at the grit, the competition, and the lasting friendships formed in the green room.
