Steve Gruber opens with a monologue on the path ahead for Republicans after Tuesday’s midterm results. The next two years will test whether the party can rebuild trust, focus on the core agenda, and treat the outcome as a necessary reset rather than the start of a deeper slide.

Oil prices dropped sharply on Wednesday, falling nearly ten percent in a single session. At the same time, private payrolls reportedly rose by 86,000 in October while gross pay increased almost five percent from a year earlier.

A new look at the results suggests Democrats did not win because voters fully embraced their platform. Instead, Republicans paid a price for unfinished business on key promises, including the situation with Iran and elevated gas prices that weighed on households.

Congress returns next week for a short lame-duck window. Major items remain open, from the debt ceiling and federal spending levels to permitting changes and potential IRS reforms, all before control shifts in the new year.

Guests include Ed Butowsky of Chapwood Investments, Doug Troux of Restoration of America, and Tommy Aiello of the National Taxpayers Union.

What must Republicans prioritize first to regain ground with voters before the next cycle?
