# Live: APEC Youth Talks – Building a community through trusted narratives

Free with YouTube's ads, posted by CGTN.

The 2026 APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting will be held in Shenzhen, China, this month, with the theme "Building an Asia-Pacific Community to Prosper Together." At a time when misinformation is widespread, the challenges faced by the media are particularly severe. How can young journalists from the Asia-Pacific region work together to build a community of trust? What kind of stories are younger generations interested in? Does AI technology bring opportunities or challenges to the industry? CGTN's He Beibei sits down with journalists from Malaysia, Chile and Papua New Guinea to discuss these questions and more. Join us on CGTN for APEC Youth Talk: Building a community through trusted narratives. #APECChinaYear #APECCHINA2026 #TheHype
