Shaukat (Sanjay Dutt), a Booker Prize-winning author struggling with writer's block, decides to base his new novel on his beautiful wife, Antara (Aishwarya Rai). As he becomes desperate for a hit, he begins to manipulate Antara’s real-life interactions with a young colleague named Yash (Zayed Khan) to fuel the narrative of his book. As the events he writes begin to manifest in reality, the line between fiction and life blurs, leading Shaukat down a dangerous path of obsession and schizophrenia.
