In a bleak future where only the wealthy can afford a clean environment, an exclusive residential complex is built atop the ruins of a notorious mental asylum. Walt, a state-indentured labourer, accepts a cushy job as its caretaker, believing it's his ticket to retirement. With few residents and mostly automated systems, all seems calm—until strange events begin. The new tenants are plagued by nightmares, psychological breakdowns, and the eerie echoes of archaic treatments. As Walt tries to suppress the asylum’s dark history, he begins to unravel, haunted by visions of the former head doctor—who now stares back at him through mirrors. As reality fractures, Walt must confront the truth: is Sanctum cursed by its past, or is something far more sinister awakening? Will the residents survive the legacy of the asylum, or are they doomed to repeat it?
