미국 민주당이 3일(현지시간) 치러진 중간선거에서 연방 하원 다수당을 차지할 것으로 미 주요 방송사들이 예측했습니다. CNN과 NBC는 미 동부시간으로 중간선거 개표가 한창인 이날 오후 10시를 조금 넘겨 이같이 예측했습니다. 전체 435석인 연방 하원 의석의 과반인 218석에서 민주당 후보가 승리할 것으로 예측했다는 의미입니다. 개표 결과가 속속 나오는 가운데 민주당이 우세한 흐름을 이어가고 있어 민주당은 과반을 훌쩍 넘겨 승리할 것으로 예상됩니다. NBC는 민주당이 하원에서 244석을 확보할 것으로 예측했습니다.
