# De Limburgia van de Koninklijke Hollandse LLoyd

Kennismakingstrip met het passagiersschip s.s. Limburgia. Het schip, dat bijna 20.000 brt mat, werd in 1914 op de werf Tecklenburg in Duitsland als de 'Johann H. Burghardt' voor rekening van de Duitse HAPAG gebouwd en in 1917 door de Koninklijke Hollandse LLoyd (KHL) aangekocht, hetgeen nogal wat wrijving met Engeland veroorzaakte. In 1917 kwam het schip in Amsterdam aan. Later werd het schip weer naar Duitsland terugverkocht.
