# Tracing the Transformation: Cartographic Evolution of the Sundarban Delta (1654–1945)

Summer 2025 PLPS Fellow Dr. Shouraseni Sen Roy conducted research in the Geography and Map Division on the Sundarbans, a mangrove forest area in the Ganges Delta spanning the Parganas District in India and the Khulna District in Bangladesh. She will present her findings from her research in the division in a presentation titled, Tracing the Transformation: Cartographic Evolution of the Sundarban Delta (1654–1945).
