# Rip Van Winkle – a Moveable American Adventure

In this video, we look at a book where a Father of American Literature and a Father of American Puppetry meet across the centuries to illustrate an important transitional moment in American history. The tale of Rip Van Winkle by Washington Irving, cherished by generations of Americans, finds new life in this moveable book by Tony Sarg, the designer of the giant helium-filled balloons that bring millions of Americans together every Thanksgiving Day.
