From time travel to journeys through outer space, award-winning authors Ernesto Cisneros (“Queso, Just in Time”) and Donna Barba Higuera (“Firesnake”) take readers through these exhilarating and poignant novels. In “Firesnake,” young Itzel journeys back to earth, once thought destroyed. Cisneros’ novel follows a boy traveling back in time to meet the kid version of his late father.
