# Finding Pictures: World’s Fairs

Have you ever wanted to attend a World’s Fair? Join reference librarians Ryan Brubacher and Gillian Mahoney for a tour of select World’s Fairs featured in the Library of Congress’ Prints & Photographs Division collections.

While this presentation highlights four fairs in the United States from 1893 to 1965, the Prints & Photographs Division’s collections include photographs, posters, design drawings and more, showcasing the architecture, construction and crowds at dozens of World’s Fairs in the United States and abroad. Explore the lights, attractions and surprises captured in images from fairs in Chicago, San Francisco and New York, and get expert recommendations for exploring the collections on your own.
