# Music of Anthony Braxton: Conversation with the Artists

On March 8, 2025, the acquisition of Anthony Braxton’s papers was celebrated with a performance by musicians who know his music well and perform it frequently. Several of these musicians joined moderator Timo Hoyer and the Music Division’s Stephanie Akau in a discussion about Braxton’s music and archive, and how the Tri-Centric Foundation prepared the materials and provides additional access to Braxton’s music.
