# James S.A. Corey: After ‘The Expanse’ and ‘The Mercy of the Gods’

When humanity is overrun by an invading alien species, what will be required to survive? ‘The Mercy of Gods’ launches a new science fiction series from the authors of “The Expanse.” Placed in competition with other captive species, humans must remember who the real enemy is. Cyndee Landrum moderates a discussion with the creators of the series (who write under the pen name of James S.A. Corey) at the 2024 Library of Congress National Book Festival in Washington, D.C.
