# National Ambassador for Young People's Literature

Watch the Library of Congress inaugurate Meg Medina, the eighth National Ambassador for Young People's Literature. The National Ambassador is charged with fostering a love of reading, writing and civic engagement among children, teens and families. Medina will serve a two-year term from 2023 to 2024.
