# Conversation with Jennifer Koh

Violinist Jennifer Koh participates in an intimate and reflective conversation with the Library's Claudia Morales and Anne McLean. Koh is an artist committed to creating projects presenting many compositional voices. She discusses the concept of building community through shared musical experiences and describes her inspiration for the creation of her acclaimed new project "Alone Together," a series of micro-commissions developed to support composers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Opening her 2020-2021 digital residency at the Library, Koh will be performing two Library commissions by Julia Wolfe and George Lewis and a wonderfully diverse group of nine "Alone Together" pieces, a fascinating snapshot of contemporary composition for the violin.
