# Anti-Trafficking Prohibitions & Third-Party Assistance

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), codified in part in 17 U.S.C. section 1201, makes it illegal to circumvent technological measures used to prevent unauthorized access to copyrighted works, including copyrighted books, movies, videos, video games and computer programs. This session will explore the role of Anti-Trafficking provisions of section 1201(a)(2) and section 1201(b) in deterring copyright infringement and will consider whether any amendments may be advisable.
