# Rare Books Go Electronic

Children from the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center preschool were introduced to a new way to experience classic stories through an electronic application of Cricket Media called Story Bug. The children heard and watched a large-screen version of the app in the Young Readers Center and viewed several of the original rare books that were re-formatted in the digital version. Lee Ann Potter demonstrated how these virtual shared books allow readers and listeners to read books together from a distance.
