The black-and-white film switches to color, showing Sigmund and Martha Freud in Grinzing and Marie Bonaparte and Mark Brunswick swimming in the Danube River. A later segment, also in color, was filmed in December 1937 and shows Marie Bonaparte reading journals in the waiting room of the Freud home at Berggasse 19 in Vienna. Other interior shots show Freud's consulting room and study, the home's kitchen, and Paula Fichtl, the Freud's housekeeper, putting away linens.
