# WRGB Commercial Breaks (September 24, 2004)

Taken from an airing of "As the World Turns" on WRGB channel 6, the CBS affiliate in Schenectady, NY serving the Capital Region. This was the only portion of this airing on the tape, the rest is from October which will be uploaded later. This era of WRGB has never seen the Archive, and that's because it didn't last long. In late 2003 WRGB dumped the WBZ ripoff graphics in favor of a Giant Octopus package originally commissioned for WBBM, CBS' Chicago O&O station. The graphics were on their way out at this point, as a week later (10/1/2004, as evidenced by the Wayback Machine) WRGB implemented the current "CBS 6" branding (and also used another WBBM package, this one lasted until 2008). My guess is CBS wanted their network name in WRGB's branding seeing they were copying one of their stations. But honestly, this GO package was underrated and WRGB should've kept it IMO.
