# WRGB Commercial Breaks (February 25, 1992)

From the same tape as the American Music Awards, it is the 1992 Grammy Awards ceremony, taken from CBS affiliate WRGB channel 6 in Schenectady, NY (serving New York's Capital Region). Some commercials were edited out due to copyrighted audio, while others were muted. This video includes a look at WRGB's first graphics imaging with the "Making a Difference" theme (originally composed for WISN in Milwaukee). WRGB was still leading the ratings, but by this point it was getting thin with WNYT creeping up. This look clearly didn't last long, as they began using the blue "NewsCenter 6" logo as early as April 1993. Also if ABC's evening lineup wasn't dull enough, CBS' was much worse. Most of its news shows this season couldn't make it past season 1, and only a handful lasted through a second season. Two shows promoted here - "Scorch" and "Fish Police" - lasted only three episodes!
