# WRGB Commercial Breaks (December 9, 1985)

Taken from the live-action Alice in Wonderland adaptation off of CBS affiliate WRGB (channel 6) in Schenectady, NY and serving the Capital Region. Yes this is my oldest video so far, and features some pre-Freedom era WRGB (Freedom Communications bought the station 3 months later). WRGB was still the first place station in the ratings during the mid-80s, even if losing Ed Dague to WNYT and CBS' decline in ratings were threatening it. *Voiced by Mark Eliot Timestamps: 0:00 - Channel Intro 0:13 - Alice in Wonderland Bumper 0:23 - Folgers 1:10 - Campbell’s Nacho Cheese 1:26 - Jif 1:56 - NutraSweet 2:26 - CBS Movie Bumper * 2:36 - Cagney & Lacey Promo * 2:47 - Mary and Foley Square Promos * 3:07 - CBS ID 3:10 - Burger King 3:40 - Peter Harris 4:10 - WRGB Hanukkah ID 4:14 - Alice in Wonderland Sponsor Bumper * 4:28 - Alice in Wonderland Return Bumper * 4:36 - NutraSweet (different ad) 5:07 - Actifed Tablets 5:37 - Amtrak 6:08 - McDonald’s 6:38 - Alice in Wonderland Scene Preview * 7:14 - Alice in Wonderland Credits with Promos for CBS This Morning and Cagney & Lacey 8:25 - CBS Movie Bumper 8:33 - The Equalizer Promo (partial) 8:54 - NewsCenter 6 Update (Liz Bishop anchors with a weather brief from Tim Welch; news theme is “Spirit of ‘82” by Telesound) 9:18 - Mooradians Furniture 9:28 - Lechmere 9:58 - Reeds 10:28 - Outro (C) 1985 Universal Communications Corporation, WRGB now owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group.
