Cataloged from contributor's data

Kindergarten through third grade

Tells the story of six-year-old Davie who, using his imagination, finds himself transported to the Old West where, as a cowboy, he is awed by the Rocky Mountains, spots some Indians, and fires his guns on behalf of a lone rider dressed in black. An attack by a ferocious animal turns into a lick from Davie's dog and a call to supper
