# SPHERE 1998 WB VHS RIP

A VHS‑sourced transfer of Sphere (1998), taken from the Warner Bros. home‑video cassette release. This rip preserves the analog qualities of late‑90s VHS duplication, including color bleed, tape grain, and mild tracking noise. Based on Michael Crichton’s novel, the film follows a team of scientists sent to investigate a mysterious spacecraft resting on the ocean floor, where they encounter a powerful alien intelligence capable of manifesting their fears. Combining psychological tension, deep‑sea atmosphere, and late‑90s sci‑fi aesthetics, the movie has become a notable artifact of the era’s studio‑driven genre filmmaking. This upload is intended for preservation, research, and historical reference.
