# 日本のおばけ話 01 (Anime OVA; Raw VHS Rip)

A collection of two anime shorts compiled into one VHS tape, each one focusing on Japanese spirits known as Yokai. If you're familiar with the anime series "Manga Nihon Mukashi Banashi", these shorts are sort of presented in a similar style. The first short is about a Hyakume (lit. One-Hundred Eyes) following a man through a forest, and the second is about a Bakeneko (lit. Ghost Cat) tormenting a man throughout the night. Since these shorts are for kids, the horror elements aren't too intense, but they're still there. There's another tape in this series containing two more shorts, but I've been unable to find it. As always, I hope you enjoy!!
