# Moby Dick (1956)

The 1956 adaptation of "Moby Dick," directed by John Huston , is a cinematic interpretation of Herman Melville's classic novel. The film features a high-profile cast and was generally well-received, both critically and commercially. Set in the early 1840s , the film follows Ishmael , who embarks on a whaling voyage aboard the Pequod , captained by the vengeful Captain Ahab .
